This job is all about identifying talent and convincing them to come join an awesome team. It's a lot like sales–you've got to prospect, run a sales process, close the deal.
So, how should you pitch them?
Find three to five of the most awesome people on the job hunt you know or can find online.
Draft up a mock message for each one of them (whether you know them or not). The goal of the message is to get them to consider a phone screen with you (as if you're already the recruiter). For bonus points, actually reach out to them to tell them you think they'd be awesome for a position, and ask if they'd mind you referring them.
Lastly, apply to the job with your mock messages and a list of names to refer for each of their open positions.
