I’ve worked on marketing campaigns for all kinds of products for companies large and small. I’ve managed eCommerce assets for one of the top organic energy bar producers, and built visually appealing emails that grew revenue for a woman-owned sportswear company. I’m a branding nerd, and love to design and write. I know what customers want and love finding creative ways of presenting it to them.

Throughout my previous roles, I’ve learned how to collaborate with a team to find solutions to problems, and how to stay organized while juggling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.

I have a passion for people, and am an excellent communicator. I love building and sustaining relationships with people. I understand the importance of listening to, relating to, and understanding customers and their needs.

Now I’m ready to use those skills in my next role in Customer Success or Marketing. I’m adaptable, flexible, driven, and a fast learner. I thrive in positions where I get to wear multiple hats. Give me a challenge, and I’ll rise up to meet it.

This is my current position I am using to support myself while participating in the Praxis Bootcamp program. I design digital assets such as Headers, Hero Images, Banners, and other graphics for Sam's Club's eCommerce site.

eCommerce Digital Asset Coordinator at Clif Bar

I started at Clif Bar as a production designer for the e-commerce team, where I designed banners, ads, and promotional graphics to be used on retail sites & emails. A couple months in, it turned out that my boss had other needs. She knew I wanted to take on more responsibility, so she helped me transition into a digital asset coordinator. I then assisted the eCommerce team with all of their administrative needs. I audited all e-retail sites, created image bundles for online photo carousels, gather copy and nutritional information for products, and update content for the retailers. Created a tracking document & new process for the whole eComm team to keep tabs on the status of all e-retailer image updates.

Freelance Graphic Designer (Various Clients)

I was contracted out to many different companies while in San Francisco. I designed print and digital assets for various large and small clients such as Banana Republic, Cloudflare, Sufferfest Beer Company, Nice & Company (Ad Agency) Madison Reed, Rodan + Fields, and Fitness SF. The digital holiday ads I created for Banana Republic increased sales by 20% over the previous year.

Email Designer + Coder at Title Nine (Contract)

This was an amazing contract opportunity (also through an agency) where I got to learn basic HTML and how to build emails. I designed marketing and promotional emails for all Title Nine products and events, which helped generate increased sales for Q2. I also created display banners (still + animated), as well as social media assets (Facebook ads & carousels, instagram posts, Google Showcase ads, etc). Built, coded, & tested emails.

When I first moved to San Francisco I used a creative recruiting agency to obtain this contract. I designed Print & Digital ads & collateral, in collaboration with the Senior Designer and Marketing Director (Magazine & newspaper ads, fliers, static window clings, e-cards, facebook banners and carousels).

This was my first job out of college. My amazing boss took me under her wing and taught me everything about the world of production. I Set up templates, upload proofs, move projects through their schedules in a timely manner, release files to printers, and slice/prepare digital files for web development. I work with the designers and copywriters to make sure we deliver print and digital collateral that is effective and consistent with Nordstrom's brand messaging and mission.

This was one of the most fulfilling roles I've ever had. I made cold-calls to students and their families to generate interest and support for the school. I also gave tours to and built relationships with incoming and potential new students. I would address their concerns and answer questions. The best feeling in the world was having students come up to me afterwords and say, "after talking to you I have solidified my decision, and I'm ready to make a commitment to WSU!"
